Reports of chest pain and a hospital visit for Bono

Rolling Stone has recently reported that the U2 front man, Bono, was taken to the hospital after complaining of chest pain and heart palpitations on Wednesday, August 17th. The singer was taken to the hospital by his wife, Ali. The couple was vacationing in the South of France. Bono and Ali were on vacation after Bono’s 3 year long world tour for a little rest and relaxation. The trip to the hospital did not require an overnight stay and the rock star was given a good report then sent home. The heart specialist at Princess Grace Memorial Hospital in Monaco, recommended that Bono get plenty of rest. Bono, who is now 51 years old, had emergency back surgery after a serious injury in 2010 while preparing for U2′s tour in the United States. Bono’s back injury required U2 to reschedule the 2010 US tour dates due the 8 week recovery time the lead singer needed after the surgery. During the 8 weeks the singer also need rehablitation for his back.
Bono and his wife are expected to stay in a villa they own just outside of Monaco for the next couple weeks and continue thier vacation. The lead singer and his wife have been spotted at Saas Cafe with thier friends the Irish designer, John Rocha and singer, Julian Lennon. Julian Lennon claims the reports of the recent hospial visit are false and Bono is doing just fine. A spokesperson for Bono claim the visit to the hospital was just for a checkup and there was no complaint of chest pain. Bono’s representatives also claim the singer was giving a good report from the doctor.
U2 recently ended their world tour in Canada just 3 weeks earlier. The 360 Tour visited 30 countries and was made up of 110 shows. Although reports are conflicting, many fans hope the best for Bono and his health. He is considered one of the biggest rock stars of our day and the U2 has claim to the highest grossing tour in history.
